Your gift will help purchase the life-saving HAMILTON- MRI compatible portable ventilator.

The HAMILTON-MR1 portable ventilator is vital equipment that breathes for our patients when they can’t.

24 hours a day every day, the ventilator pushes air in and out of the patient’s lungs so their body can get the oxygen it needs. It helps keep our patients alive.

The patients in our Intensive Care Units (ICU) are some of the most critically ill patients in our hospitals and often need to undergo diagnostic tests to determine their diagnosis and treatment. These tests may include a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan (MRI).

Magnetic resonance imaging is a highly sophisticated way of imaging the body. At its core it is driven by a huge magnet so nothing that is metallic may enter the MRI room.

And, crucially, the state-of-the-art HAMILTON-MR1 portable ventilator has been specifically designed so our critically ill patients who are on a ventilator can safely undergo Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

We urgently need to raise $70,000 to purchase the state-of-the-art HAMILTON-MR1 portable ventilator for Epworth Freemason’s Intensive Care Unit so critically ill patients can undergo the MRI scans they need.

Please donate to help purchase this vital equipment.

Having the HAMILTON-MR1 portable ventilator enables us to undertake an MRI which may be pivotal in diagnosing and treating a critically ill patient.

Providing the best possible care to our patients is at the heart of everything we do at Epworth. With your help, we can make sure our extraordinarily skilled staff have the state-of-the-art equipment they need to provide world-class care to all our patients.

Please donate to help provide life-saving equipment for our seriously ill patients in ICU.
