At the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth we are completely committed to finding new ways to treat and fight pancreatic cancer.
We know that the best way to beat this cancer is to diagnose the disease as early as possible, but this is incredibly challenging – and this is why we need your support.
We are going to launch a national screening study with the goal of diagnosing pancreatic cancer while it can still be treated.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, with a five-year survival rate of just 13%.
The Australian Pancreatic High-Risk Screening (APRISE) Study, led by the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth, is Australia’s first national study focused on the early detection and intervention of pancreatic cancer. Launching in June 2025, this pioneering study aims to recruit 1,000 individuals at high genetic or familial risk to explore screening methods and identify biomarkers that could detect the disease at its earliest, most treatable stage.
Our goal is to raise $200,000 to fund critical research!
To ensure the success of the APRISE Study, we need to raise $200,000. Your donation will directly support the recruitment of participants, improve accessibility, and the analysis of data that will drive future advancements in early detection and treatment.
Please donate today and be part of the change.
Your tax-deductible donation will have a lasting impact on the future of pancreatic cancer care. Together, we can make early detection a reality and improve survival rates for those facing this devastating disease.
By giving generously, you will help us find new and better ways to diagnose and treat this disease.
