Support Professor Nathan Lawrentschuk as he walks to support men with prostate cancer.

A note from Nathan

In October, I am leading a small group of doctors, staff and patients to walk the Italian Camino via Francigena.

While this will be a great personal challenge for the group, it is our shared commitment to improve outcomes for men with prostate cancer that will be the greatest focus. Through the E.J. Whitten Prostate Cancer Research Centre, we are determined to support better diagnosis and treatment options for prostate cancer, giving patients the opportunity to be part of studies that may extend their lives.

Approximately 66% of men with prostate cancer in Victoria will seek support from Epworth at some point in the journey, whether that be at diagnosis, throughout treatment or surgery, or during their radiation therapy.

Together our group of hikers hopes to raise $100,000 and we would be grateful for any support that you can provide.
